Online registration process for short-term employment

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has again expanded EasyGov.swiss, the online service desk for companies. As of 3rd April, Swiss employers and foreign service providers can use the EasyGov platform to complete the registration process for short-term employment of workers from EU/EFTA countries. Der Bund will das Meldewesen in der Beherbergung digitalisieren

Das Meldewesen in der Beherbergung soll schweizweit digitalisiert werden. Hierfür sollen die Verordnung über Zulassung, Aufenthalt und Erwerbstätigkeit (VZAE) revidiert und die Plattform EasyGov mittelfristig um den Behördengang «Meldewesen für die Beherbergung» ergänzt werden. Company relocations and business closures

On 9 October, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) again expanded EasyGov.swiss, the online portal for companies. Two additional cross-authority services are now available to companies: with the company relocation service, companies can report a change of address to all relevant authorities in one go. EasyGov’s business closure service assists companies with all the necessary process steps, from registering liquidation to deletion.

The EasyGov online counter is to be given a new IT architecture from 2027. Technologies will be used to enable the partner authorities to autonomously integrate processes into EasyGov in the future.

Work permits for postings and cross-border services of more than 90 days

On 25 June 2024, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) again expanded EasyGov.swiss, the online desk for companies. EasyGov will become a UID service for foreign companies as part of the ‘Integration of reports and permits to pursue employment under the law on foreign nationals’ programme. Furthermore, it is now possible to apply on the portal for permits for postings of more than 90 days for employees from companies based abroad and for self-employed service providers from abroad, in the canton of Zurich. EasyGov.swiss: VAT returns and work permits for third-country nationals

On 15 December, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) again expanded EasyGov.swiss, the online desk for companies. Thanks to a successful cooperation project with the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA), VAT returns can now be submitted by following the ‘VAT-declaration easy’ process on EasyGov. In addition, third-country nationals in the pilot canton of Thurgau can now apply for work permits on the EasyGov portal. Mehr »

EasyGov.swiss supporting the digitalisation process of the Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations and enabling online work permit applications for cross-border commuters

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) is again enhancing EasyGov.swiss, the online desk for companies. An extended range of services will be activated from 24 May. It will now be possible to process cross-border commuter permits for EU/EFTA nationals with the pilot cantons of Thurgau and Zurich. Furthermore, foundations under the supervision of the Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations (FSBF) will be able to submit transactions such as annual reports online via EasyGov.

Studie Architekturreview EasyGov: Integrations-Sollarchitektur für Behördenleistungsportale

Das Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft (SECO) hat per 9. Mai 2022 die «Studie zur Integrations-Sollarchitektur für Behördenleistungsportale» publiziert. Die vorliegende Studie wurde im Rahmen der E-Government-Strategie Schweiz durchgeführt und zeigt Lösungen auf, wie die Interoperabilität zwischen Behördenportalen umgesetzt werden kann. Ziel ist es in einem nächsten Schritt Standards zu definieren, die eine für das Zusammenwirken der Behördenleistungsportale nötige Daten- und Prozessinteroperabilität ermöglichen. Die schrittweise Umsetzung der Integrations-Sollarchitektur soll im Rahmen der Digitalen Verwaltung Schweiz (DVS) weiterverfolgt werden.
